Aleta Aaron, ACSW, LCSW, LMFT
Aleta Aaron is a psychotherapist with over 30 years of clinical experience. Her nurturing and perceptive style is ideal for helping people navigate life’s unplanned events. She provides the support and knowledge to help people resolve current problems and long standing issues. Aleta assists them to change their lives from what does not work and help them achieve their life goals.
She sees individuals, couples and families with a range of presenting problems including marital /couple difficulties, divorce, depression, parent-adolescent conflict, chronic illness, anxiety, women’s issues and trauma related problems, and many others.
Aleta has honed her expertise working in diverse settings from outpatient community mental health, private non- profit, a domestic violence program and college environments. In addition to her practice, she has provided clinical training and supervision to other professionals and devotes time towards serving on many local task forces, community agency boards and committees.
Aleta is licensed in the State of Georgia as a Clinical Social Worker and a Marriage and Family Therapist. She is a clinical member of the National Association of Social
Workers, the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and is Cerified with the Academy of Certified Social Workers. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas in 1973 and her Masters of Social Work from the University of Michigan in 1975.
